I’ve always been fond of photography, but I have only recently purchased a DSLR and I love it.
Coming from a graphic design background really does help when dealing with photography as you already are aware of good composition and colours. However i’ve learn’t a heck of alot just by taking more and more photos.
If you have the cash and interested in photography, pick up a DSLR. You will not regret it!
Below are some of the shots i’ve taken – check out my Flickr account for more.
Wanted to give a quick run down on what has been happening over these busy months:
So if you are truly are a fan, stalker or have been following me on Twitter. You would know that I finished my portfolio book and went to get it printed.
I also was listed as one of the 22 Must Know Designers From UK, very honored that i was considered as i think there are amazing designers out there far better than me!
Currently working on a bunch of client projects but also working on a personal project on the side as a creative outlet which i’m keeping my mouth shut about but watch out for the 11th of July (If things go to plan and on time).
I’m also currently looking to rent out a studio about 1000 sq/ft in the London area, so if you know any places, let me know!
I’ve been super busy, so haven’t been able to do much blogging as of late but will be sure to post about a few cool projects i’m working on.
If you haven’t seen this yet, Adidas has released a brilliant commercial, it’s shot so well and the colours in the video are just amazing. The soundtrack by Four Seasons – Beggin’ just has such an upbeat charm to it.
So you may have noticed the new design, i’m still fixing browser bugs in older browsers at the moment and should be done tomorrow afternoon, hopefully! But wanted to give it a little spin and what not.
I’ll definitely give a more detailed post sometime tomorrow about why and the reasons for certain design decisions i made.
But for now, let me know about the bugs you find around the site and as for me i think going to catch up on some sleep!
I just fixed a small visual bug with the commenting in Wordpress 2.6.5 and below. The comment labels such Name, Site and Email would be inline with each other right next to the input box.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock these past few days, and not heard about 24 Ways then you should be ashamed!
It’s basically an “advent calendar for web geeks” with brilliant articles about web design and development which get published once a day for 24 days up till Christmas.
I have to say too, that i love the design. Ok it might not be a looker – but i love how experimental it is, very slick and sleek.
First off i want to give many thanks to all those which have been downloading and using Equilibrium. I didn’t expect it to be this popular! I’ve learnt so much from releasing the theme, and cannot wait to release my next one!
Had some free time so i decided to tweak and improve Equilibrium. The most noticeable change with the 1.3 release is that it supports Wordpress 2.7 Comment Threading but if you do not have 2.7 it will still be backwards compatible!
For a future release i’m thinking about incorporating AJAX into the sidebar, which will have tabbed sections instead of the current sidebar. But i would love to know what people would like to see in the next release! So get in touch!
I stumbled upon the BoConcept Collection 2009 Catalogue this morning which was laying around the living room. Thought i would share some pages of the catalogue as I love the layout, i’m such a sucker for clean and miminal designs.
