Flintfox is an intelligent pricing platform that manages complex rebates, omni-channel pricing and margin reporting for global retailers and distributors. While their software is invisible by design, their legacy marketing website was invisible for the wrong reasons.
Organic traffic arrived and left without converting, leaving the business entirely reliant on expensive paid search (PPC) channels. We were commissioned to transform the site into a high-performing conversion tool by developing website-specific user personas, establishing a data-led digital strategy, and rebuilding the core architecture from the ground up.
The project marked a significant commercial pivot, shifting Flintfox from a traditional solution-based messaging model to a highly targeted, product-based approach. To execute this transformation at speed, we operated as a strategic technical partner alongside their brand agency, 20(SOMETHING).
To prevent delays, we engineered a flexible component library and design system at the absolute start of the development cycle. Instead of waiting for a linear handoff, the team mapped out user journeys and structural layouts based on the newly generated user personas. This component-led design framework allowed the visual and technical structures to evolve in parallel.
When 20(SOMETHING) delivered the final creative direction, the bold color system, refined typography and dynamic sticky navigation seamlessly integrated into the pre-built framework. This resulted in an energetic, modern aesthetic that perfectly aligned with the product strategy and allowed components, modules and layouts to be quickly repurposed for differing needs across the site.
Building on a clean, standard-compliant WordPress foundation unlocked immediate capabilities across four regional domains.
However, translating a new brand and product strategy into a live digital execution can occasionally reveal unexpected behavioral friction points. When initial post-launch metrics surfaced multiple red flags in the conversion funnel, we immediately deployed its data analytics capabilities to unpack and resolve the issues at speed. Leveraging analytical techniques — including pathway exploration, heat mapping assessments, and traditional website metrics — the team adopted a rigorous, scientific approach to diagnostic testing in the live environment.
Deep-dive data analysis revealed that the conversion bottleneck wasn’t a flaw in the core messaging, but rather a series of pre-existing infrastructure and third-party integration conflicts.
Specifically, regional lead data on the German domain was encountering errors at the external marketing automation layer, while an overly restrictive configuration in the consent management tool was silently suppressing the primary tracking scripts responsible for form attribution.
The team rebuilt the integration with robust server-side validation and restructured the compliance tool parameters. This systematic intervention successfully baselined key conversion metrics back to a pre-launch level. To ensure further deployments represent continuous improvements to this baseline, the team introduced a structured A/B testing matrix to evaluate further iterative enhancements.
The project successfully transitioned Flintfox from an outdated, hardcoded environment to a resilient, high-converting digital platform.
By eliminating the technical debt that had quietly choked organic performance for years, the site captured high-value leads within hours of resolving the script conflicts. Furthermore, the flexible design system has provided complete operational autonomy. The Flintfox marketing team can now quickly repurpose components and modules to spin up localized landing pages independently, reducing the need for custom configurations and ensuring the platform scales dynamically alongside their global business.
