Where physical space meets digital

Whether you’re turning a live event into a show, opening an exhibition to people who can’t attend or recruiting through a world people want to explore, we combine creative direction, hardware, real-time 3D and engineering to make the experience work wherever your audience meets it.

Installations that respond to people

Sensors, hardware and real-time visuals that turn a physical action into something a crowd can watch, built to survive a live event and travel to the next one.

  • Sensors and hardware
  • Real-time visuals
  • Live data and leaderboards

Worlds people choose to explore

Real-time 3D environments with the pull of a game, from zones and mini-games to progression that brings people back, and content your team can keep current.

  • Real-time 3D and WebGL
  • Game mechanics
  • Content systems

One experience, every place it’s seen

In the venue and on desktop, tablet and phone — each gets the version that suits it, from free exploration to a guided, chapter-led path.

  • Device-aware modes
  • Touch navigation
  • Adaptive video

From physical space to virtual world

Scans, scene files and video from build partners, turned into places people can move through, and profiled to run smoothly on the hardware they actually use.

  • 3D capture and asset pipelines
  • Scene optimisation
  • Performance profiling

A three-minute sprint, turned into a live show

For On Running’s Lightspray tour we built everything behind the screen: a Hall-effect sensor reading the treadmill belt, WebGL visuals that move with every stride, registration and a live leaderboard. It launched in Paris, then On Running’s own teams ran it in Boston, Tokyo and Mainhausen.

Real rooms, captured in 3D

For OneSurvey, Scotland’s largest independent surveyor, we built the app its surveyors carry on site. It captures a room as a 3D model, replacing paper in a profession with 150 years of practice behind it.

Inside a world 1.5 million people explore

Adventure Awaits is EY’s careers world: six zones, each blending content and interactivity. A screenshot shows the landing scene; this is what sits behind it.

Base Camp

A forest clearing to start from, with tents to step into, Fireside Stories among them.

Six zones, one world

Snow, desert, reef and forest, each zone a landscape of its own.

Content inside the play

Career Heights maps EY’s career paths; Tranquillity Lake holds yoga, mindfulness practices and playlists.

Alive, not static

Animated wildlife, wind and smoke keep every scene moving, drawn in real time with three.js.

Built to come back to

A bespoke game engine adds challenges and progression, and a CMS lets EY’s team keep the content current.

“Made by ON’s ability to guide us through the project as partners has been a really key part of working together, pushing the project to its maximum potential”

Your journey from launch to scale

Launching for impact

An immersive experience has seconds to earn attention. We bring concept, prototyping, hardware, 3D production and engineering together so it lands from the first moment, whether that’s a launch, an event or an exhibition.

Optimising for success

Once people are inside, the job is keeping them there and learning from what they do. We tune performance, journeys and content against real engagement, from dwell time to where people drop off.

Scaling for tomorrow

Good experiences outlive their launch. We build content systems, modular worlds and installations your own teams can run, so you can add zones, reach new venues and audiences, and keep going without starting again.

Let’s talk about what’s next

What kinds of immersive experiences do you build?

Live installations driven by sensors and real-time visuals, explorable 3D worlds, and virtual versions of physical spaces and exhibitions — for global brands, employers and cultural organisations.

Do you build physical installations as well as digital experiences?

Yes. We design and build the hardware and software together, from sensors that read what people do to the visuals, registration and data behind the screen, and we hand over installations your own teams can run at the next venue.

Can one experience work in the room and on screens?

Yes. We build so the same experience can serve each setting: an installation in the venue, and desktop, tablet and phone for the people who can’t attend.

Can you work alongside our agency or production partners?

Yes. We often build with creative agencies, design studios and physical build partners, taking their creative direction and assets and owning the technology that brings them to life.

Can our team update the experience after launch?

Yes. We connect the experience to a content management system, so your team can change copy, media and featured content without a development cycle.

How do we know whether it’s working?

We build measurement in from the start: who takes part, which zones people enter, how long they stay and where they leave, reported through the analytics platform you already use.

Build your next immersive experience

Live installation, virtual exhibition or explorable world — we’d love to hear what you’re imagining. Share your brief or project goals, and a senior lead will follow up within 24 hours.
