Building the next generation of publishing

As search, social and AI reshape how audiences discover content, the publisher’s own platform is becoming more important — not less. The opportunity is to turn the archive, the editorial operation and the relationship with the reader into a more valuable, resilient business.

Editorial platforms built around your workflow

A newsroom platform has to be defined with the people running it day to day, not handed to them afterwards. We build the content model and design system around how an editorial team actually works, so the platform serves the workflow rather than the other way round.

Bringing legacy content into the future

An archive is a publisher’s long-term asset, and a migration is the moment it’s most at risk. We move existing content onto new platforms without breaking editorial continuity — monitoring canonicalisation and redirect behaviour throughout, so nothing drops out of the index on the way across.

Programmes that scale without a bottleneck

Large-scale events and programmes need partners and contributors who can publish their own listings directly, not queue behind a developer. We build platforms that let submissions flow straight through, so nothing waits between a decision and a published page.

  • Event platforms
  • Partner submissions
  • Self-serve publishing

Found by people, and machines

Being read matters less if you can’t be found: by search, or increasingly, by the AI systems mediating it. We build with server-side rendering and structured data as standard, so a platform stays indexed and citable for both audiences.

  • SSR and crawlability
  • Structured data
  • Visibility monitoring

“Our partnership challenged us to take strategic design decisions that would not only improve the visitor experience but also directly influence our business”

Your journey from launch to scale

Launching for impact

A publisher’s platform usually carries an existing archive and an audience already in motion. Launch has to protect both while introducing what’s new. We bring content strategy, design and engineering together so nothing gets lost in the move.

Optimising for success

A platform earns its readers after launch by staying fast under real traffic, staying visible as search and AI-mediated discovery shift, and staying easy for an editorial team to run day to day.

Scaling for tomorrow

Archives grow, traffic spikes around news cycles or events, and the discovery landscape is ever-shifting. We design content structures and technical foundations that can absorb those changes, so the platform holds up however big the next breaking story.

Let’s talk about what’s next

How do you work alongside an editorial team?

The platform and the content model get built together with whoever runs it day to day: the editorial workflow is the product, not an afterthought to it.

Can we migrate without losing rankings or the archive?

Yes. We’ve moved 1,000+ existing posts onto a new platform without breaking editorial continuity, with canonicalisation and redirect behaviour monitored throughout every migration we run.

Who owns the platform once it’s built?

You do. The platform, the content model, and the relationship with your audience are yours outright, with nothing licensed back to us and nothing waiting on our roadmap.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Where it’s useful, yes. But it isn’t assumed or built into every engagement. We scope post-launch involvement to what an organisation actually needs and can sustain, rather than defaulting to a retainer.

How do you think about AI-mediated search?

First as risk mitigation. Declining clicks under AI answer boxes are already well documented, and organic dependency is a business risk that compounds the longer it goes unaddressed. We build the SSR, structured data and visibility monitoring to keep a platform indexed and citable as that landscape shifts.

Build what’s next for your organisation

Editorial migration, event platform or the AI-visibility work beneath — we’d love to hear what you’re building next. Share your brief or project goals, and a senior lead will follow up within 24 hours.
